Hey, Okuyasu... [ he pauses, looking around them to make sure they were alone. looks like the waiters are going to be busy so better late than ever: ] Do you remember anything about a photo? If I mentioned kids or costumes, would that ring a bell for you?

[He wasn't smart enough to look inside the car, unfortunately. Okuyasu grunts in annoyance.]

I remember the kids from last year. I don't know anything about a photo.

Probably for the best that you didn't get a peek of it. You might have been mind-whammied for waaaay longer if you found out about it.

[ since it's clear that okuyasu doesn't know about it, daylight is more than willing to fill him in on the details: he explains what he had learned from takame and sans. the picture. the contents of it being two kids wearing halloween costumes. the aged state of it hinting it was far older than it had any right to be.

when he finishes sharing the information that he had, daylight leans back and raises his arm to alert a waiter nearby. they were ready to order, he thinks. ] Feel free to get what you want while chewing over what I said. Least I can do for you, buddy.

[ okuyasu had a rough month and then some. and will continue to have a rough month, as they both will later learn. ]
